Who is the Thumbnail Factory for?
The Thumbnail Factory is mainly for YouTube creators with at least 10,000 subscribers. At this stage, it becomes relevant to invest in professional thumbnails, since the analytics are sufficient and the return on investment is clearer. Below this threshold, we also support motivated creators, but with a more gradual approach.
How does the thumbnail creation process work?
Once the topic and script are received, we create two quick draft proposals to set the creative direction. We can follow the creator’s idea or challenge the concept if needed. Thumbnails are delivered within 24 to 72 hours for one-time orders, and within the agreed timeframe for scheduled subscriptions. We also offer A/B testing on request to maximize performance.
What are your delivery times? Do you offer an express service?
The standard delivery time is 72 hours for a single purchased thumbnail.
For subscriptions, thumbnails are scheduled according to the channel’s publishing calendar.
For urgent needs (unscheduled video, last-minute script), we offer an express service with an additional fee.
What are your rates and subscription plans?
The rate is fixed per thumbnail. We offer monthly subscriptions of 4 or 8 thumbnails, with increasing levels of support:
· From 4 thumbnails/month: we build a coherent visual story across the channel.
· From 8 thumbnails/month: we go further by providing input on titles, content directions, and channel data analysis.
If a month has a missing thumbnail, it can be compensated the following month. Additional thumbnails or A/B tests are billed separately through the monthly invoice.
How many revisions are included?
We do not limit the number of revisions: the goal is to get it right and create a high-performing thumbnail. Our expertise allows us to go straight to the point, but if an adjustment is needed, we handle it at no extra cost.
Do you provide multiple formats or only the YouTube format?
We deliver thumbnails in 1920×1080 (16:9 format) to ensure optimal quality and more visual precision. This format is fully compatible with YouTube, which then automatically resizes them to 1280×720, its official standard. This way, your thumbnails stay perfectly sharp and impactful on both desktop and mobile.
How does the approval and delivery process work?
Approval is done via WhatsApp for quick exchanges, followed by a final validation on Trello to maintain clear organization. Final thumbnails are delivered directly on Trello as attachments.
What happens if I’m not satisfied with the result?
We do not offer refunds (as the work has been completed and committed), but we do everything possible to find a solution.
In case of an issue, we can:
· Revise the thumbnail for adjustments,
· Provide an additional thumbnail,
· Or offer an extra A/B test.
Who owns the rights to the thumbnails created?
All usage rights are transferred to the client. The Thumbnail Factory retains only a right to use for its own communication materials (portfolio, website, social media), but never for other YouTube videos. Each thumbnail is unique and will never be reused for another channel.
Do you use royalty-free images and fonts?
Yes. All resources used are royalty-free or properly licensed.
If the client has a specific brand guide (fonts, visual elements, etc.), they must provide us with the corresponding access or licenses.
